Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable
Apprentice Electrician
to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of a certified Journeyperson. This is a great opportunity to learn the trade from experienced professionals while working toward your Red Seal certification.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation of wiring, lighting, and electrical systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Adhere to safety standards and company policies on every job site
Support journeyperson electricians with troubleshooting and repairs
Keep job sites clean and organized
Attend and complete technical training and required coursework
Qualifications
Registered or eligible to register as an Electrical Apprentice
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong interest in the electrical trade
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Protection) are an asset
