Job Opportunity: 2nd or 3rd Year 309A Commercial Electrical Apprentice

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled 2nd or 3rd year 309A Electrical Apprentice with a history in commercial construction, including high-rise condos and townhouse builds. We are also active in single family laneway suite builds, and sound/music studio builds, having worked at some of the largest and most prestigious studios in Canada. Responsibilities:

As an electrical apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a licensed journeyperson and be a key part of our construction team. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the installation of electrical wiring, power distribution systems, lighting, and fire alarm systems in new commercial and residential buildings (condos, townhouses, laneway suites).
Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, electrical code specifications, and diagrams to plan wiring layouts for multi-story structures.
Performing rough-in wiring for units, corridors, and common areas.
Installing and bending conduit, as well as installing electrical boxes and light fixtures.
Assisting with the installation of circuit breaker panels and other control and distribution equipment.
Adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites, including working at heights (ladders, scissor lifts) and in various stages of construction.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring the proper use and care of company tools and equipment.
Collaborating effectively with other trades and team members on site.
Qualifications:

Currently registered as a 2nd or 3rd year 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrical Apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario.
Strong, verifiable experience in commercial electrical construction, particularly with condos, townhouses, or other multi-unit residential projects.
Solid understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across the GTA.
Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
Completion of all required in-school training for your apprenticeship level.
Current WMIS, Working at Heights, and Four Steps Certification.
Compensation & Benefits:

Average Hourly Wage: Competitive wage ranging from $24(2nd Year) - $28(3rd Year) per hour, commensurate with your year of apprenticeship.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
