Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in various settings. This position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop skills in electrical work under the guidance of experienced electricians.

Duties

Assist in the installation of electrical systems and components according to blueprints and schematics. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment and systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues, including low voltage systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to understand project requirements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while working on job sites. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in electrical work, including industrial applications.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related electrical field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is essential. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on job sites. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required.
