Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within a residential and commercial installations setting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an apprentice to further develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced electricians. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience, be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to safety standards. This role involves working with various electrical components, tools, and schematics to support ongoing projects and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting Work with low voltage systems and understand basic electrical principles Support the assembly of electrical components according to specifications Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment during all tasks Participate in on-the-job training sessions to develop skills in blueprint reading, circuit testing, and system troubleshooting

Experience

Prior experience or familiarity with construction electrician work is required. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, low voltage wiring, and construction practices is preferred Strong interest in developing a career as an electrician with a focus on safety and quality workmanship Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to company safety standards and procedures

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
