Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to the successful delivery of solar projects, ensuring systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Work Arrangement:
Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week.
Flexibility is required due to weather conditions and project scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and install solar racking and mounting systems.
Mount and connect solar panels, ensuring optimal performance.
Run conduit and connect systems to electrical distribution networks.
Assist with solar thermal installations, energy monitoring setups, and related systems.
Test installations and configure online reporting systems for monitoring and performance tracking.
Complete detailed job reporting, including service reports, commissioning documentation, time tracking, and job-specific records.
Perform additional duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the company.
Qualifications:
Registered Electrical Apprentice in good standing or demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing registration as an Electrical Apprentice.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, email, and internet applications.
Possession and maintenance of personal protective equipment and hand tools.
Reliable personal transportation for travel to job sites.
Skills:
Comfortable working outdoors year-round, at heights, and in construction environments.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and portable power tools, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
Competent with computer software and smartphone applications.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Exceptional accuracy in all tasks.
Experience:
Experience working in construction or an industrial environment is preferred.

Polite and courteous in interactions with co-workers and customers.
