Position Overview:

As an

Electrical Apprentice

, you will assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the

Ontario Electrical Safety Code

, site safety procedures, and high-quality workmanship on projects such as EV charger installations, lighting upgrades, and building automation.

You will learn by doing, developing the hands-on skills, diagnostic capabilities, and customer-focused mindset necessary for your Red Seal journey while contributing to our positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, conduit, lighting, and control systems under supervision Support with interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics Maintain clean, organized work sites following safety procedures Perform material handling and tool organization to support licensed electricians Participate in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues using proper tools Attend safety meetings and actively follow all health and safety protocols Uphold a positive, respectful attitude with customers, team members, and site staff
Qualifications:

Enrolled in the Ontario Electrical Apprenticeship Program (309A)

Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding Willingness to travel to various job sites across Ontario Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to learning Respectful, inclusive, and safety-focused approach to work
