A typical day for the eLearning Experience and Facilitation Specialist
Work with the Education team to assist in developing our digital strategy for learning
Design, develop and partner with our clients to create innovative eLearning that includes:
instructional design
online training development
storyboard development
content development
platform integration
graphic design
project management
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and 2-3 years experience in eLearning design and LMS experience
Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Advanced skills in Articulate (Storyline), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Proven skills in developing online training using eLearning format
Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Suite.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong comprehension of LMS technology
Knowledge of SharePoint and SharePoint Online tools and resources
Solid understanding of best practices for the use of technology-mediated learning.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize work and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment within tight timelines
Ability to promptly develop and deliver learning content and resources that support APS employees and organizational goals.
Ability to understand complex information and re-write it in a suitable learning format
Superior interpersonal skills used to build positive relationships.
Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license; use of a personal vehicle is required
Travel in Alberta is a requirement of this position
