Junior Civil Engineer (EIT) - Land Development & Municipal Engineering
Location: Rossland, BC
Are you a motivated early-career civil engineer looking to make a meaningful impact in your community while growing your technical skills? WSP's Rossland office is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team.

What you can expect to do here:
  • Assist in the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure and land development projects
  • Support preliminary and detailed design of stormwater, sanitary, water, roadway, and grading systems using tools like Civil3D and AutoCAD
  • Participate in construction administration, including field reviews and site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
  • Help prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and technologists across WSP offices
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies under guidance from senior staff
  • Learn and grow through hands-on project work, mentorship, and training opportunities
What you'll bring to WSP:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in municipal infrastructure or land development (co-op/internship experience counts!)
  • EIT designation and eligibility for registration with EGBC
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Bluebeam)
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel for site visits
Compensation
Salary range (in British Columbia): $61,600 - $84,700
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
