The Opportunity
Mining Engineers-in-Training (EIT) to join our Ontario Operations team. These positions will be based in Sudbury and are all permanent opportunities.
Vale is seeking to increase diversity across our operations and improve equal opportunity at Vale and in the mining industry. Female, female-identifying will have priority consideration.
The successful candidates will be a member of the Vale\xe2\x80\x99s Ontario Operations and enrolled in a 48-month program that includes Application of Theory, Practical Experience, Management of Engineering Communication Skills, and Social Implications of Engineering which is the requirement for licensing as a Professional Engineer in Ontario. The successful candidates must be able to build and maintain relationships and interact with other technical staff and supervision. The position will involve assignments in a variety of technical groups across Vale and occasional trips underground. The position may also involve assignments in similar departments in other Vale Ontario Operations.
