A titre de
Specialiste du Centre de reparation EIS
, vous effectuerez des reparations sur les composantes EIS, incluant l'equipement de controle, les boitiers de surface, les controleurs de sautage et les systemes de cablage (harness). Vous serez responsable de remplacer les cartes electroniques et les connecteurs lorsque requis. Vos autres responsabilites incluront :
Effectuer l'entretien preventif des bancs d'essai et des outils de calibration.
Utiliser les equipements et logiciels de test specialises afin de verifier la performance et la calibration des unites reparees.
S'assurer que toutes les unites reparees respectent les specifications d'usine et reussissent les tests fonctionnels et de securite.
Documenter et enregistrer les activites de reparation, l'utilisation des pieces et les resultats des tests dans la base de donnees du centre de reparation.
Communiquer les informations de facturation aux representants du service a la clientele (CSR) ou au service des finances.
Contribuer aux rapports de tendances concernant les problemes recurrents afin de soutenir les initiatives d'amelioration des produits.
Preparer l'expedition des equipements repares.
Suivre tous les protocoles de securite reglementaires de l'entreprise.
Maintenir un espace de travail propre et organise conformement aux procedures de manipulation des matieres dangereuses.
Soutenir les pratiques d'amelioration continue et les principes Lean dans le processus de reparation.
Collaborer avec les equipes d'ingenierie (DetNet) et de soutien technique pour escalader les defaillances complexes.
Fournir de la retroaction aux equipes terrain et a la production concernant les problemes courants observes sur le terrain.
Ce que nous recherchons
Diplome technique ou certificat en electronique, genie electrique ou domaine connexe (obligatoire).
Formation additionnelle en systemes de sautage electroniques ou systemes d'initiation d'explosifs (atout).
Minimum de
2 ans d'experience
en reparation, diagnostic ou maintenance electronique (secteur industriel ou minier prefere).
Connaissance des systemes d'initiation electronique ou des equipements a distance : un avantage.
Capacite de voyager aux
Etats-Unis
pour des formations.
Dispose a reussir une
verification d'antecedents ATF
(exigee pour la possession d'explosifs).
Maitrise des multimetres, oscilloscopes, outils de soudure et instruments de diagnostic.
Comprehension de base des circuits electroniques, protocoles de communication et systemes a microcontroleurs.
Attitude positive, approche conviviale et bon esprit d'equipe.

What You'll Do
As an EIS Repair Center Specialist, you will perform repairs on EIS components including control equipment, surface boxes, blast controllers, and harness wire systems. You will be responsible for replacing electronic circuit boards and connectors where required. Other duties:
Conduct preventive maintenance on test benches and calibration tools.
Use specialized testing equipment and software to verify operational performance and calibration of repaired units.
Ensure that all repaired units meet factory specifications and pass functional and safety testing
Document and record repair activities, parts usage, and testing results in the repair center database.
Communicate invoicing information to CSRs or Finance.
Assist in trend reporting for recurring issues to support product improvement initiatives.
Shipping of repaired equipment
Follow all company regulatory safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with hazardous material handling procedures.
Support continuous improvement and lean practices in the repair process.
Liaise with engineering (DetNet) and technical support teams to escalate complex product faults.
Provide feedback to field teams and production for common field failures or handling concerns
What We're Looking For:
Technical diploma or certificate in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field (required).
Additional training in electronic blasting systems or explosive initiation systems (preferred).
2+ years' experience in electronic repair, diagnostics, or maintenance (industrial or mining sector preferred).
Familiarity with electronic initiation systems or remote field equipment advantageous
Must be able to travel to the USA for training purposes
Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
Proficient in use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering tools, and diagnostic instruments.
Basic understanding of electronic circuits, communication protocols, and microcontroller systems.
