What You'll Be Doing
Assist with the setup and cleanup of EIFS work sites
Load, unload, and move materials and tools to and from job sites
Assist in the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding system and safety components
Support EIFS plasterers by preparing substrates and mixing materials
Cut and prepare insulation panels and mesh under supervision
Operate hand and power tools as required
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Perform other general labour duties as assigned by the site supervisor
Work Environment
Work is performed
on-site
at various locations throughout the maritime provinces
Conditions include working
at heights
,
outdoors
, and sometimes in
cold or refrigerated environments
Requirements
Experience:
Previous construction or EIFS experience is an asset but not required
Certifications:
WHMIS Certificate (required, or willingness to obtain)
Physical Capabilities:
Able to lift up to 75lbs
Physically fit: bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for long periods
Ability to work in demanding conditions and changing weather
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and following instructions closely
Tools/Equipment:
Must bring own
hard hat
and
steel-toed safety boots
