QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator, preferably with an RECE qualification, to support children during nap times and assist with waking them up at City View Centre.

Registered Early Childhood Educator with the College of ECE. (Preferred)

SKILLS, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE

Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR

Valid Police Records Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector

Up-to-date vaccinations

Valid Work permit (If applicable)

Experience working with young children in a group environment

Oral and written fluency in English is required.

High level of professionalism and tact

Strong team communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Computer literate (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft)

Experience relating directly to parents/caregivers

Experience with and sensitivity to all cultures and socio-economic groups

Ability to be flexible with changes

Acting as a role model for co-workers and students by promoting positive relationships in the work environment and setting professional goals and objectives for the program

SHIFT

11:30am - 3:30pm

HOURS

3.5 hrs. Daily

WORK WEEK

Monday to Friday

RATE OF PAY

Non-RECE-$18.36(probation rate) +Wage Enhancement grant + benefits

RECE- $20.55(probation rate) +Wage enhancement grant + CWELCC wage increase+ benefits

START DATE

as soon as possible
