Job Description

We are looking for a CERTIFIED CHILD CARE PROFESSIONAL who is also an EXPERIENCED & SEASONED DRIVER - someone with a Class 4/S Driver's License, a clean driving record and the ability to keep their eyes on the road through noise and distractions, with an ability to drive safely in all weather conditions. We have the duty and privilege of delivering children SAFELY to and from school every day. But for the kids, it's an extraordinary experience - an adventure - so you've got to have a GREAT personality to go with that shining driver's abstract and references.


To be a successful candidate, you should possess both Alberta Childcare Certification Level 1, 2 or 3 & a valid Class 4/S Driver's License.

Responsibilities

You'll get a shuttle bus to be responsible for - this means keeping it clean and gleaming inside and out! You'll be a Summit ambassador on the road and in all interactions with customers and the public at large. Follow safe driving practices at all times to ensure safety of our children and those around Comply with traffic regulations. Provide exceptional care for all children from drop-off to pick-up. Help maintain order among children to ensure their safety at all times. Ensure that the center facilities are always safe for our children and help the Campus Lead to strictly comply to licensing standards at all times Act with compassion while upholding Summit Kids policies and standards. You won't have any out-of-pocket expenses - we take care of that.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Alberta Childcare Certification - Level 1, 2 or 3

You'll have a

Class 2 or 4 Driver's License

(preference given to those with an S Endorsement) with a clean driver's abstract. Clear & Valid criminal record check with vulnerable sector, taken in the last 6 months - if you don't have one, we can tell you how to get one! Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C Certification (don't worry we'll hook you up!). Be organized, punctual and efficient. Ability to communicate openly and respectfully.
