You need strong skills using and making visual schedule. As well as understanding and ability to implement a sensory diet using heavy work movement strategies. • Current clear criminal and vulnerability record check . Reimbursement for records check would occur with success of 1 month probation.
• Be very physically active and creative. Be willing to play in the snow, play at the park summer and winter, go swimming if appropriate.
• Willing to learn and implement strategies in a fun and safe way.
• A calm disposition is needed.
• Be reliable and able to complete documentation for each visit. Training would be provided.
• You do need to have your own vehicle to be able to transport self to places.
• Having experience working with children on the spectrum would be an asset.
• You must be accountable and follow COVID 19 precautions.
• There is no cell phone for personal use during work hours, any use of profanity is prohibited, use of any rough or restraints is prohibited.
• Love working with people who are from a variety of cultures and using a play approach to help children learn and grow is a must.
