3.0 Hours per day

-Omega School - Interlake Colony

-Mallard School - Keystone Colony

Working under the direction of a Learning Support teacher, classroom teacher or a clinician, Educational Assistants will supplement the regular instructional programs for students, by assisting students in their intellectual, social and emotional development.

Qualifications:

Completion of a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Diploma. Enjoy working with children and have a basic understanding of their needs. Well developed numeracy and literacy skills. Ability to contribute as a team member & willingness to accept guidance and supervision from professional staff. A sense of discretion that respects the privacy and integrity of those with whom he/she is associated. Ability to multi-task. Be a positive influence on the team atmosphere. Related course work such as the Educational Assistant Program Diploma (University of Winnipeg) or the Child Care Services Diploma (Red River College Polytechnic) would be considered an asset.

Start Date: September 2, 2025

Hourly Rate: $18.51 - $24.94 / hr
