Educational Assistant: The Laureate Academy

Overview:

Join our team as an Educational Assistant and make a positive impact on the lives of our students. We are seeking a dedicated individual to support educators in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children.

Responsibilities:

- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Support students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:

Experience working with children in an educational setting

- Educational Assistant Certificate (preferred)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, students, and parents
- Familiarity with math concepts to assist students with assignments
- Understanding of classroom management techniques

- Applicants are required to possess a current Criminal Background and Child Abuse Registry Check

Pay: $20.00-$20.50 per hour
