Job Description

TEAM School is currently seeking an Educational Assistant. This position is a full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year with the option of continuing should there be a suitable opening available.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of full-time Ontario Certified Teachers to support students receiving individualized instruction.

Candidates possess the following:

excellent command of the English language including written and verbal skills; strong collaborative skills; up to date immunizations (a clear TB skin test and Criminal Record check are required upon hiring)
Preference will be given to candidates who

have completed a recognized ECE diploma; are registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
Successful candidates will:

work with homeroom teachers to support quality individualized educational programmes for children with diverse learning needs; help with the preparation of instructional materials; support delivery of individual or small group instruction as directed by the teacher; support students during independent work times; assist with the marking and correcting of student work, as well as the provision of feedback as directed by the teacher; assist with outdoor recess duty and bus duty as assigned; supervise children as deemed necessary by homeroom teachers.

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
