CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Education Assistant to join our Cranbrook Learning Center. This is an in-person position for
3 hours per week on Thursday afternoons
, with additional on-call availability as needed.Qualifications:
Candidates need to have good interpersonal, communication and organization skills and work independently. The candidate needs to be able to be kind, firm and set reasonable boundaries and stick to them. Preferences given to candidates with computer skills (Brightspace or willing to learn), Special Education or Tutoring experience. Experience working with children shall be considered an asset. Must reside in Cranbrook, BC area or within a one-hour driving distance
Ideal for:
College students, youth group leaders, Sunday School Teachers.
