Job Description
Assignment:
Part-time 0.60 FTE Educational Assistant position Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until December 19, 2025 with the possibility of extension Duties will include providing individual assistance to a student with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom
Qualifications:
Experience working with students with complex needs Ability to formulate string and healthy relationships Effective oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with coregulation Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment Ability to work one on one or with a student in an inclusive environment Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care and hygiene
