Full-time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant position
Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
To provide inclusionary assistance for students with diverse needs
Qualifications and/or Assets:
Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant of students with complex needs, varying abilities and skills
Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Assist with the development of academic, social and life skills
Experience with academic and behavioral programming, assistive technology, and/or medical needs
Ability to take direction from a variety of professionals
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Ability to accept flexibility in assigned duties, and supervise students during transitions, lunch and at work experience placements
Experience with the Collaborative response Model would be considered an asset
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
