Job Description
Assignment:
Part-time 0.40 FTE Educational Assistant position in the Bright Futures Play Academy Program Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year 8:10-11:30 A.M., Monday through Thursday Duties will include providing individual assistance to preschool students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom
Qualifications:
Experience working with students with complex needs Effective oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality Calm and patient approach to solving problems Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment Ability to work one on one or with a student in an inclusive environment Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal hygiene Toileting and lifting will be required
