We are currently looking for a responsible, hardworking individual with a passion for supporting students within the classroom. You will display flexibility, patience, sensitivity, enthusiasm, creativity and imagination. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment. This is a part time position (0.5 FTE) to commence as soon as possible. You will be required to work 15 hours per week. This is a leave replacement position and will terminate upon the return of the permanent employee.
Al-Amal Academy is located in North West Calgary and provides an Islamic learning environment that offers an accredited program of studies compliant with the Alberta curriculum. Al-Amal Academy is a K-9 school that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities including regular classroom studies as well as foreign language, computer science and sports groups.
