30 hours weekly following the school calendar
Commencing December 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026
The successful candidate will work with students from Aurora Treatment Centre at Pines Alternative School as part of a team to provide instruction, social skills development, and behavioral intervention and support to students. They will work closely with school personnel as well as case workers from the treatment centre.
Pines Alternative School provides students with an alternative to the conventional school environment. The focus of our school is to facilitate each student's personal growth, as well as to promote and develop skills which will allow the students to become responsible and self-directed learners.
Desirable qualifications and attributes:
Educational Assistant certificate, Rehabilitation or Social Work diploma. Strong Interpersonal skills. Training in behavior strategies.
