Position: Educational Assistant
Location: Agassiz, BC or Bridal Falls Area

CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Education Assistant to work with a Grade 11 student in Agassiz BC, in a home education context
. This position is in person for 10 hours per week (2 hours per day)
. The student has learning challenges plus self regulation challengesQualifications:
Candidates need to have good interpersonal, communication and organization skills and work independently. The candidate needs to be able to be kind, firm and set reasonable boundaries and stick to them. Preferences given to candidates with computer skills (Brightspace or willing to learn), Special Education or Tutoring experience. Experience working with children shall be considered an asset. Must reside in Agassiz, BC, Bridal Falls, Hope, & Harrison Hot Spring BC area or within a one-hour driving distance

College students, youth group leaders, Sunday School Teachers.
