The Department of Supportive Care (DSC) consists of three divisions - Psychosocial Oncology, Cancer Rehab & Survivorship, and Palliative Care. This role is to support the Psychosocial Oncology program.
POSITION:
The Conversation Lab is an is an educational and system-based initiative created to improve serious illness care and is made possible with generous support given to the UHN Foundation. Its vision is a health care system where every clinician is trained and empowered to skillfully discuss what matters most with their seriously ill patients and families. As the program is in its \xe2\x80\x98building phase\xe2\x80\x99, the Knowledge Exchange Specialist will support the program in various ways including creative content creation and adaptation, educational course organization and oversight, and quality improvement/research initiatives evaluating the program.
The Specialist requires past experience in creative educational content creation, workshop/seminar organization, operations, and evaluation, analyzing data and writing reports of findings and recommendations, and conducting evaluations to continuously assess and be accountable for impact. Feeling comfortable engaging with key stakeholders to adopt a new educational program is an asset. The Education & Knowledge Exchange Specialist will develop and deliver blended programming including instructor-led training, eLearning and other print and digital formats in collaboration with department members and subject matter experts.
