Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic candidate to join our team as a

Education Coordinator

.

The Education Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring educational success of each child enrolled at the centre. This includes administering Mathnasium curriculum and managing the student learning environment at the centre.

A successful candidate for this position is PASSIONATE about math education, LOVES working with kids, and has exceptional CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT and ORGANIZATIONAL skills.

Full time or part time position available. Work hours are 12 pm - 8 pm Monday to Thursday and 10 am - 2 pm on Sundays.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach and train the instructional team Assess students and set student goals Communicate student goals and learning plan changes to the instructional staff Monitor daily student performance and track their goals Communicate student progress to parents on a regular basis, and as-needed Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices Manage student schedules Other day-to-day operational / administrative duties as needed and assigned

Qualifications:

Exceptional math competency through Pre-Calculus level Familiar with the BC Math Curriculum Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities Experience in team management or leadership roles Passion for education and a genuine interest in helping students succeed Eagerness to learn and be trained

If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
