Education Coordinator (mandarin & English Speaking)

Job Description

JEI Learning Center is expanding, and we're seeking one candidate for the position of Education Coordinator. The Education Coordinator is responsible for implementing the curriculum, managing all program-related aspects, and enrolling children in the After-School Program for ages 4 to 12. The Education Coordinator is a highly energetic individual with a passion, genuine love for children, and a solid educational commitment.

The Education Coordinator position will grow into an Assistant Director position within a set timeframe and with clear growth milestones.


Teaching/educational experience with primary-grade children is mandatory.

Customer Focus

Organize and lead center tours with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference in our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc. Develop and implement strategies to recruit and enroll new students monthly. Serve as a point of contact for students and parents, addressing inquiries and providing program information. Create marketing materials and manage social platforms to capture leads (WeChat proficiency is necessary). Assist in promoting the learning center's programs through various channels. Participate in community events and activities to raise awareness about the center's offerings.
Educational Focus

Conduct classes, monitor student progress, and adjust educational plans as necessary. Work alongside the instructors to maintain a positive team environment while promptly addressing staffing issues. Manage schedules for classes and coordinate with instructors to ensure smooth delivery of programs. Gather feedback from students, parents, and staff to identify areas for improvement. Implement and uphold policies and procedures to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment. Uses a growth mindset to train, coach and develop teaching staff.
Minimum Requirements:

Must speak fluent English and Mandarin.

Must possess an undergraduate degree or be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree.

At least one year of direct experience in the educational field

At least one year of primary grade (JK to grade 6) teaching experience.

Ability to maintain strong relationships with families and team members Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Fluent in English - verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional time management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly detail-oriented.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
