Education Assistant
Job Description
Duties include:
Positions available for this job posting - Infant class ages 12-18 months, Toddler class 19-30 months
Support Montessori head teachers in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
-Following the daily routines that include outdoor playtime
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
Help with meals and supervise rest periods
-Assist with proper eating, dressing and toilet habits diaper changing
-Daily maintain daycare equipment and assist cleaning and classroom set up
-Attend staff meetings
May assist head teachers or supervisors in keeping records.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
