Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a K-12 Online School providing fully accredited Christian education to students in BC. At HCOS, we are focused on growing in academics as we grow in relationship with Jesus.

Within the Inclusive Education division, our goal is to provide supportive and flexible Christ-centred programming for students with diverse needs, who are learning from home and Community Connection locations.

Heritage Christian Online School has a need for three part-time self-employed independent contractors to support one or more students at our one day a week on-site locations called Community Connections in

Langley, BC,

as an

in-class Education Assistant for the 2025/26 school year.

Additional hours supporting students at home may be available.

Thursdays: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
Grade 7/8

Grade 8

Grade 9

Specific training for working with students with diverse abilities, such as an Education Assistant certificate (or equivalent), is required

Duties & Responsibilities

As an Education Assistant, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Support executive functioning and self-regulation Support academics (i.e., SS, Science, Art) Work collaboratively within the classroom ??Provide the social, spiritual, and academic learning needs of students, providing mentorship to the whole person ??Support IEP goals
