Job Description
Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a vibrant K-12 learning community serving families throughout British Columbia. We offer flexible home, class and online education programs designed to meet each student's individual needs and learning style.
Our Education Assistants (EAs) are independent contractors who bring creativity and compassion to supporting home learners within the Inclusive Education Department.
We are currently seeking a part-time Education Assistant in
Campbell River
to support students in their family homes and in our full-dayCommunity Connections
class on Wednesdays during the 2025/2026 school year.Applicants with formal training or certification in Education Assistance (or equivalent experience working with diverse learners) are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide academic support Coach executive functioning and self-regulation skills Foster the student's social, spiritual, and academic growth through mentorship and encouragement Partner with parents and the Case Manager to create engaging, personalized learning experiences Help implement IEP goals in collaboration with the student's broader support team

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.97-$28.13 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
