We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional to expand our presence in the Edmonton area. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and developing strategic plans to drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer management, with a focus on building long-term partnerships that align with our company's goals. Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Edmonton and through the Northern Alberta market through prospecting and networking.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet company growth objectives.
Communicate with the dispatch and operations teams to plan customers and jobs effectively.
Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business growth initiatives.
Complete and submit customer RFPs.
Lead negotiations with prospective clients to secure contracts that benefit both parties.
Coordinate cross-functional projects involving sales, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
Prepare presentations and proposals tailored to client needs, demonstrating value propositions effectively.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development or sales within a related industry.
Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to analyze market data and develop actionable plans.
Demonstrated success in sales, negotiation, and closing deals with clients.
Effective project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Knowledge of marketing principles and experience working closely with marketing teams on campaign development.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Prior experience or familiarity with the Edmonton market is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $90,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
