The EDI Specialist supports the development of safe and inclusive work environments by providing consulting, coordination and support for medium- to high-complexity projects in EDI, Talent and Organizational Development.In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll influence and lead positive organizational change towards embedding EDI principles throughout the employment lifecycle. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also apply your EDI expertise to the design, delivery and evaluation of programs and initiatives aimed at improving accessibility, equity, and inclusion on organization-wide EDI, Talent and OD, and P&C projects and programs.Your inclusive, compassionate, and collaborative approach will be essential to the success of this new role and function.   • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of medium to high complexity EDI, Talent and OD projects.
  • Act as EDI subject-matter expert, providing an equity lens to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s people & culture initiatives, practices and policies.
  • Apply a proactive, creative, collaborative approach to finding business and people solutions.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships at all levels of the organization, partnering closely with the People and Culture teams, Communication and Marketing, Business Advisory Services, and other key partners.
  • Deliver and coordinate change management and communication plans and report on our outcomes and measures.
  • Create and deliver reports on relevant metrics in partnership with the Analytics team.

Your background and experience
  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in humanities, sociology, Human Resources, Social Justice or related discipline preferred.
  • Preferably five years of recent related experience in EDI, with three years in human resources, Organizational Development and/or coaching and/or micro-credentials in areas of expertise.
  • Knowledge of EDI approaches, principles, frameworks, and plans that achieved successful outcomes
  • Experience working in unionized/non-unionized environments.
