We are currently looking for an

EXPERIENCED

Edge Bander operator interested in building a long-term career. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good attitude, a desire to learn. Knowledge of frameless cabinets, components, fabrication, and other machinery is a definite asset.

Experience operating HOMAG edgebanders, either KAL210 Ambition 2270 or Optimat KAL210/7/A20/S2 is a huge asset.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt. Maintain consistent, high level of production through the machine. Locate parts, tag them with identifying text and numbers, and record information such as gauge readings (in metric), time tracking, and material usage. Assist with quality control by reporting defective products or equipment malfunctions and if necessary, assist with any repairs. Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly through he workday. Daily safety and operational checks of machinery and weekly deep cleans. Operational understanding of the machine and its moving parts, including return table conveyer and clearances around the machine. Safely and quickly preparing the machine using different edge tapes, glues, and settings. Other duties may be assigned,
Work week is Monday - Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience.
