Compensation Details:
Student, New Grad & Master's salaries range from $42,900 to $56,550 annually, based on year of study. Please see the salary breakdown by year of study below:
1st Year: $42,900 ($22.00/hour)
2nd Year: $44,850 ($23.00/hour)
3rd Year: $46,800 ($24.00/hour)
4th Year and Beyond: $48,750 ($25.00/hour)
New Graduate (Undergraduate): $54,600 ($28.00/hour)
Master's/PhD: $56,550 ($29.00/hour)
Location:
Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, currently requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week. (subject to change)
This role will be performed from EDC's headquarters in Ottawa.

Overview
The Information Management team is responsible for governing the lifecycle management of information at EDC. The team advises EDC and provides guidance on best practices for information lifecycle management including SharePoint and M365 governance, retention and disposition of information, application decommissioning, information storage locations and protection, guidance on filing structures and using metadata, and preserving information integrity.
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a motivated and meticulous Student or recent graduate to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with:
Managing and boxing up print information
disposing of information
populating an organization-wide content type inventory
system configuration and testing
developing training and communications
conversion of legacy media (e.g., film reels) to other formats
developing, implementing and automating information management processes
analysis and problem solving
This Junior Associate position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in information management.
What we are looking for:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Information/Records Management program (or recent graduate).
Strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, show initiative and meet deadlines.
Can lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
Resourceful and must be available to work onsite in EDC's downtown Ottawa office.
What will make you stand out:
Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French) is considered an asset.
Intermediate knowledge of M365, including SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, is considered an asset.
