Position Summary
ECS 102 - Education for Justice - Self and Other
With a vision for social change and moving towards truth and reconciliation, students will examine issues related to eco-justice, multilingualism, racism, sexism, heteronormativity, and ableism in ways that challenge how they have come to view the world and better equip them, as future educators, to help children and youth engage with the precarity and complexity of our shared lives.
This course is part of the University of Regina's Faculty of Education Bachelor of Education YNTEP Program offered in Whitehorse, YT.
Position Requirements
Normally it is preferred that applicants will have a Master of Education degree appropriate to the area of instruction. Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs, and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied. University teaching experience is an asset.
