THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our high-performance distribution team. We are seeking a motivated Shipping and Warehouse Associate to join our high performing team. We are looking for a candidate with strong attention to detail, and excellent communication to keep our warehouse/shipping department running smoothly, and to support all aspects of our ecommerce business.

This is a key position in our company and we are looking for a motivated team member to help us grow and continue our mission, vision and values. Qualified candidates must have previous experience in a fast-paced distribution/e-commerce setting. This is as hands-on active role. Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the day and loading/unloading boxes and product.

Must be reliable and punctual. Team player with a positive attitude and an eagerness to help the team succeed. Commitment to learn and apply Head Candy's values and standards. We value self-motivation, strong work ethic, passion to succeed, and commitment to doing a great job.

Full Time - Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm, with flexibility to work weekends when required (during busy sale periods, inventory, etc.)

THE ROLE

Ensuring orders are shipped timely and in an efficient manner that aligns with company standards, which includes verifying that the order contains the correct products, packing the order, and generating the shipping label Loading/unloading boxes with shipping carriers and within the warehouse Receiving/checking in orders from suppliers, including checking each item for damage and invoicing errors, and putting stock away in the proper areas Oversee shipping department, including ensuring shipping supplies are ordered and stocked, dealing with shipping carriers pick ups and deliveries Being committed to maintaining operational and quality standards

THE QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role Determination and good judgement to deliver reliable results Desire to thrive on a high-performance team Commitment to learn and apply Head Candy's values and standards Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the day Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Strong sense of urgency and excellent time management skills Excellent computer skills required Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment Goal oriented and self-motivated with a strong work ethic Strong communication skills - both written and verbal Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills Positive attitude Punctual and reliable Experience with Shopify and e-commerce is a strong asset Experience in the cannabis/smoking accessory industry is an asset
