Job Overview



As E-commerce Manager at Chin Mounts, you'll take full ownership of the business's day-to-day e-commerce operations. You'll manage the customer service team, communicate with our manufacturing and 3PL partners, oversee warehouse and inventory, update website for promotional periods and run conversion rate optimization tests regularly, and implement scalable systems that allow us to grow efficiently. This is a leadership role for someone who wants to build systems, lead people, solve problems, and free the founder from operational involvement.

Chin Mounts has scaled rapidly, and with that growth comes operational complexity. Until now, the founder has managed everything--from warehousing to inventory forecasting to customer service--while also focusing on growth and marketing. That's no longer sustainable.

, take full accountability for performance across all areas, and lead the team with structure and clarity.

Tour of Duty Objective:

The objective for this role over the next 12-18 months is to

fully remove operational responsibilities from the founder's plate

so they can focus entirely on revenue-generating activities. Bring in elite-level operational leadership that drives Chin Mounts into its next phase of aggressive growth. This includes implementing SOPs across every department, improving team accountability, and optimizing systems for scale.

Key Responsibilities:



Supply Chain and Manufacturing Management



How we currently do it:

Our primary manufacturing partner is based in the United States, where most of our production happens. We also work with a secondary supplier in China for specific components. Final assembly and inventory are handled in Canada, with the founder currently overseeing all forecasting, purchasing, and supplier communication. Managing over 500 SKUs across multiple locations requires close coordination and a strong understanding of logistics, including moving goods across the U.S.-Canada border under the USMCA trade agreement.

Responsibilities:



Coordinate with our U.S. manufacturer and Chinese supplier to manage production of over 500 SKUs Oversee production timelines to ensure fast, reliable delivery and consistent quality Manage international logistics, including shipping goods from the product assembly warehouse to our U.S. 3PL. Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times Accurately forecast inventory using our demand planning tools to support growth

without overstocking

Monitor SKU performance and ensure best-sellers are always in stock Identify and onboard backup suppliers to minimize supply chain risk and improve scalability

Logistics and Distribution



How we currently do it:

We work with two 3PL's for order fulfillment. The founder currently manages 3PL communication, invoice audits, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:



Manage our relationship with the 3PL Audit 3PL invoices

to catch errors and ensure accurate billing Track shipping performance and hold the 3PL accountable to agreed metrics Ensure system integration between Chin Mounts and 3PL is clean and reliable Monitor shipping cost, speed, and error rates to find cost-saving opportunities

Customer Service Management



How we currently do it:

We have a customer service team of two using Reamaze. The founder oversees performance, training, and escalations.

Responsibilities:



Manage and improve our current customer service platform (Reamaze) Run monthly team meetings and track individual performance Set benchmarks for CS response times, satisfaction, and resolution rates Own and improve the returns and warranty process Identify automation opportunities to reduce support volume

Operational Strategy and Process Improvement



How we currently do it:

The founder manages all daily operations, but there is a lack of formal documentation and scalable systems.

Responsibilities:



Build and enforce clear, repeatable SOPs for all operational areas Continuously audit workflows to remove inefficiencies and reduce costs Proactively identify risks and build contingency plans Stay current on tools and trends in operations and logistics

Team Leadership and Development



How we currently do it:

The founder leads all warehouse and support staff. There's an opportunity to improve team structure, accountability, and documentation.

Responsibilities:



Lead, coach, and hold accountable warehouse and customer service teams Run weekly warehouse meetings and monthly CS meetings Build an assembly productivity tracker (e.g., mounts taped per day, per person) Set standards for output and gradually push the team to higher benchmarks Provide feedback, mentorship, and support for team growth

Experience & Qualifications



Need to Have:



Experience in eCommerce, ideally with a Shopify ran DTC brand

3+ years in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management Proven ability to build systems and implement scalable processes Hands-on experience with Shopify and Google Sheets/Excel Experience managing warehouse or production staff Clear communication and leadership skills Relentless attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through A bias toward action and results in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have:



Experience in the motorcycle or action sports industry Experience launching physical products or coordinating with factories Omnichannel operational experience Degree in business, supply chain, or operations (not required if proven experience)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
