We are a small and highly collaborative team, looking to add a consumer-focused and analytical-minded individual to fill the role of an
eCommerce Manager
. You are team-oriented, versatile, collaborative, and eager to take on the different challenges that come with working for an energetic start-up.
In this role, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to drive revenue, improve conversion, and maintain the overall health and effectiveness of the digital storefront. You will own digital merchandising strategy and product storytelling on the online store from end to end, optimizing the customer journey to align with the brand's vision and business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Own the daily e-commerce operations, including site content optimization, merchandising, and search to ensure a seamless customer experience and help increase customer conversion and repeat purchases.
Own product set-up and product catalogues and ensure that content, imagery, promotions, and data are accurate and compelling on Silk & Snow and partner websites, social media, and other digital campaigns.
Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to ensure product data is optimized and merchandising efforts drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Oversee product and category trends, provide data analysis and determine actionable insights and make strategic recommendations to enhance eCommerce results.
Use data and insights to recommend eCommerce and conversion rate optimizations, including ratings and reviews, merchandising, promotions, and availability.
Conduct SEO audits and page speed insights analysis of key pages.
Ultimate accountability for SKU productivity and profitability.
Execute ongoing competitive analysis and benchmarking as well as recommended strategies and tactics to improve the online experience.
Make recommendations for introduction or discontinuing products based on data and trends.
Spearhead new product/content updates and promotional deployments, ensure all on-site deliverables meet high experience standards and support the operations of new and current product initiatives.
Identify opportunities for A/B testing and lead the technical improvements roadmap to continually improve customer experience and critical KPIs. Communicate testing results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders to drive iterative improvements.
Maintain and update all Source of Truth files to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with IT to address technical issues and ensure the robustness of the eCommerce platform.
Essential skills and requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Communications, Retail or the equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities
3-5 years business experience and a thorough knowledge of eCommerce and related sale, marketing, merchandising and fulfillment functions
Hands-on experience with CMS (ie., WooCommerce, Shopify, Salesforce, etc.), Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEO
Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to make data-driven decisions
Demonstrated success in driving online sales growth and revenue generation.
Excellent project management, technical, problem-solving, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects in fast paced work environment with changing priorities and strict deadlines
High regard for quality assurance
Self-starter with good capacity for adaptation, autonomy, openness and sense of urgency.
Ability to problem-solve, be forward thinking and anticipate needs
Comfortable managing and influencing people who are not direct reports across all levels
