We are seeking a responsible and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee post-arrival cargo coordination, dispatch scheduling, appointment management, as well as invoice issuance and reconciliation. This role requires close communication with the internal operations team, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations and accurate billing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Duties and Responsibilities
Collect and organize all inbound documentation from overseas origin teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; manage all required documentation for customs clearance and shipment processing.
Gather and submit the required data for ISF (Importer Security Filing) in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate and timely issuance of arrival notices to relevant parties.
Monitor and update daily shipment statuses, including:
1. ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)
2. Customs release status
3. Freight location
4. Destuffing/unloading reports
5. Delivery schedules
Arrange trucking and coordinate final-mile delivery or transload operations for onward shipments to South America.
Send proof of delivery (POD) and issue invoices to clients promptly and accurately.
Coordinate and communicate with carriers, brokers, customers, truckers, terminals, and rail sites to troubleshoot issues and respond to customer service requests.
2. Experience
Prior experience in Amazon FBA operations or international trade customer service is preferred.
1-2 years of relevant work experience in e-commerce or the logistics industry.
3. Skills
Familiar with end-to-end e-commerce logistics workflows, including Amazon FBA and Mercado Libre order operations.
Knowledge of logistics tracking processes (international freight, customs clearance, last-mile delivery, and warehouse coordination).
Proficient in office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Lark, etc.).
Candidates with basic operational knowledge of Cargo Wise software will be given priority.
4. Language
Excellent communication in English (verbal and written).
Spanish language proficiency is a strong advantage, especially for communication with local partners, carriers, and platform support in South America.
5. Other Competencies
Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and capable of handling unexpected situations efficiently.
High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of order and logistics information entry.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and capable of managing high-intensity tasks.
Quick learner who can keep up with changing platform policies and evolving logistics regulations.
