Position Profile - E-Commerce Account and Retail Data Manager
The E-Commerce Account & Data Manager will oversee the management of online retail portals, with a particular focus on Amazon.ca and other key marketplace platforms. This role is responsible for maintaining product listings, monitoring sales performance, and leveraging data analysis to optimize sales, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth and enhance customer engagement.
Utilize negotiation skills to establish partnerships with vendors and suppliers that align with business objectives.
Oversee B2B sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.
Manage the Salesforce platform for tracking sales performance, customer interactions, and account management activities.
Lead cross-functional teams in executing marketing campaigns that promote products effectively across digital channels.
Foster strong communication within the team and with external partners to ensure clarity of objectives and deliverables.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce activities, providing regular reports on performance metrics.
Requirements
Administer and oversee e-commerce and marketplace accounts (Amazon.ca and other retailers).
Conduct in-depth sales, pricing, and traffic analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and growth opportunities.
Build and maintain sales and performance dashboards for ongoing business intelligence.
Analyze promotional ROI, conversion rates, and customer behavior to guide decision-making.
Forecast demand and support inventory planning using data modeling techniques.
Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to translate analytical findings into actionable strategies.
Monitor and report on key e-commerce KPIs, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with platform reporting standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in e-commerce analytics, preferably within Amazon Seller/Vendor Central.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or other data analytics tools.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar).
Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, pricing dynamics, and online retail metrics.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
