Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our team working with children with special needs. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in educating and supporting students in improving math, numeracy, reading, writing, and other capabilities.
This role is a private tutoring role. Must be able to travel to the homes of students to provide tutoring in Toronto or North York.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students.
- Educate and assist students with, reading/writing, penmanship, or math skills.
- Create personalized learning plans to meet the individual needs of each student
- Write progress reports to track student development
- Experience working with children is preferred
Qualifications
Nice to have: Experience working with children in educational settings
Nice to have: Experience in a tutoring or teaching role
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and parents Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Willingness and patience to work with children with special needs and children on the autism spectrum.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
