Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant and Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for guiding students in their academic and personal growth. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including those of students with disabilities. Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities. Organize classroom activities, manage time effectively, and ensure a safe learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.

Experience



Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Bilingual candidates (English/French) are encouraged to apply as language skills can enhance communication with students and families. Strong leadership abilities, time management skills, and proficiency in computer operation are necessary for effective classroom management and administrative tasks. Previous classroom experience is a plus, along with excellent writing skills for lesson planning and communication purposes. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
