Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. Priority will be given to candidates with prior experience in afterschool programs.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and engage children in outdoor activities and various educational programs during the afterschool hours from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.

- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team atmosphere.

- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and daily activities.

Requirements:

- Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA).

- Proven experience working with young children, preferably in an afterschool or similar setting.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for children.

- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in planning and leading outdoor activities.

- Familiarity with a variety of educational curricula and teaching methods.

- Can speak Chinese
