Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves working closely with children, families, and staff to support the developmental needs of each child while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that engage children in learning activities. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

A valid ECE or ECEA certification is preferred. Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
