Job Description

Little Koala Montessori Academy Abbotsford is looking for an experienced Early Childhood Assistant (ECEA) or Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our growing team. This is an On-call Substitute Teacher position and does not guarantee set amount of hours per month.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of classroom experience and the following qualifications:

The teacher applicant shall hold a:

BC ECEA/ECE License AMI or AMS Montessori certification preferred Valid First Aid Certification Valid Criminal Record Check 3 Reference Letters
The teacher applicant shall possess organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, flexibility, enthusiasm for early childhood, a positive outlook and attitude, and a willingness to work with all children.

The teacher applicant shall be knowledgeable in early childhood, learning theories, teaching strategies and have training in classroom management and guidance.

The teacher applicant shall be professional in appearance, manner and attitude. We offer a competitive salary based on experience.
