Job Description

We are currently seeking a

passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE or Infant/Toddler ECE)

to join our Toddler program, should an exceptional candidate apply. We are specifically looking for an educator with experience working in Infant/Toddler settings.

The ideal candidate will be nurturing, creative, and knowledgeable about

BC licensing rules and regulations

to help maintain a safe, engaging, and compliant learning environment.

Please note that we are only able to consider applicants who

hold a valid ECE or Infant/Toddler certification in British Columbia

. At this time, we are

unable to accept ECEA certifications

or applications from individuals residing outside of Canada or BC.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development Lead engaging activities such as storytelling, singing, arts and crafts, and local outings Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and movement Guide children in developing healthy habits in eating, dressing, and toileting Observe and assess each child's development and communicate regularly with families and colleagues Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment Ensure daily practices are in line with

licensing requirements and safety standards

Work collaboratively with team members and community partners

Requirements:

Valid

ECE or ECE IT certification in BC

Strong understanding of

BC child care licensing regulations

Criminal Record Check

Up-to-date immunization records

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
