Full Time Early Childhood Educator

Qualification Required

ECE License First Aid and CPR Infant Toddler and or Special Needs certification an asset

Required Experience

Experience working with children 2.5- 5 years old Experience working with group of max 25 children Provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming early learning environment Familiar with aspects of emergent curriculum Familiar with theme based curriculum Able to facilitate circle or group times and plan engaging developmentally appropriate program activities Committed to providing quality childcare experiences for children and families Strong communication skills verbally and written Ability to work flexible hours Willingness to collaborate with teammates, is flexible and adaptable Carry out and follow licensing requirements laid out by the Fraser Heath Department Able to plan and participate in daily program activities such as field trips and walks Able to maintain confidentially of families, children and staff Committed to continual professional development
