Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Assess and monitor student progress through various evaluation methods, providing feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with special education staff to support students with disabilities or special needs.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Utilize computer skills for lesson planning, grading, and classroom management.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; certification in teaching is preferred.
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
Classroom experience demonstrating effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
Leadership qualities that inspire students to achieve their best potential.
