Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ECE Level I professional to join our team. This role involves working with young children in an educational setting, fostering their development through engaging activities and a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children while ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other daily activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs. Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning experience. Observe and assess children's behavior and developmental milestones. Assist in the preparation of educational materials and resources.

Qualifications

Must possess an ECE Level I Certification Valid First Aid and CPR "C" Must have a recent (less than 6 months) CPIC including the Vulnerable Sector Search Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
