Qualifications

Must be a resident of Calgary or surrounding areas*
Must have reliable transportation Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certificate Level 2 or 3 ONLY! Minimum of Standard First Aid CPR-C (or willing to obtain) Clear Police Check with Vulnerable Sector (or willing to obtain)

Ideal Candidate

approximately 30 hours per week, split shift required is hardworking, flexible, and compassionate will ensure the safety of all children under their care works well under stress and in difficult situations has a Growth Mindset is a team player is open to learning new skills such as incorporating iSTEAM aspects into their daily childcare practices

Responsibilities

Provide a safe environment for children and staff. Supervise and evaluate staff and program to ensure compliance to Coded Minds Canada standards and Regulatory standards. Supervise children to ensure their health and safety. Provide children with educational and recreational activities appropriate for their age level as per Coded Minds Canada philosophies (emergent curriculum, iSTEAM, and Growth Mindset) Ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained in a sanitary and orderly manner. Attend workshops and professional development seminars to maintain professional competence in the industry.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $20.14-$27.62 per hour
